WSJ Highlights Companies Advocating for Clean-Energy Tax Credits
HASI was among more than 40 companies urging Congress to pass clean energy tax incentives as part of revived federal climate legislation. Organized by the nonprofit Ceres, the letter called for expanded tax credits supporting wind, solar, energy storage, electric vehicles, and related infrastructure, emphasizing the economic and environmental benefits of clean energy investment.
The signatories, which include major consumer and B2B brands such as Airbnb, IKEA, Salesforce, and LafargeHolcim, emphasized how the adoption of clean power reduces costs and drives business innovation and job creation. As climate legislation faced a narrow window in Congress, HASI’s participation highlighted its continued leadership in advancing policy aligned with the clean energy transition.
