Daniela Shapiro
Daniela Shapiro is Senior Managing Director and Co-Chief Risk Officer of HASI. She is responsible for co-managing the company’s risk and portfolio management activities.
Ms. Shapiro joined HASI in 2022 and previously served as Senior Managing Director - Investments, during which she successfully grew the company’s behind-the-meter investment business.
Prior to joining HASI, she served as Chief Financial Officer at Guzman Energy and held other executive positions, including at SoCore/ENGIE. Before her corporate executive roles, she worked in the banking industry for 10 years, where she was responsible for deploying capital into energy and infrastructure assets, including tax equity investments in renewable energy projects.
Ms. Shapiro received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from UNIFEI in Brazil and a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
