Beyond our investments in grid-connected and behind-the-meter electricity projects, HASI invests in a range of real assets spanning other high-emitting economic sectors in the U.S. These Fuels, Transport & Nature (FTN) market investments include renewable natural gas (RNG) plants, transportation fleet enhancements, and ecological restoration projects, among others. Our natural climate solutions investments in ecological restoration increase carbon storage or avoid greenhouse gas emissions, while also offering additional environmental and resiliency benefits
